Govnr
A platform aiming to allow people to engage in debate and political action on a mass scale. Users can create and join groups wherein they can propose petitions for group voting. Petitions that pass a certain threshold of support move to motion stage and are voted on by the group. If the motion is passed, the idea then goes to draft stage and the group can work together to create a statute. Drafts then go through a final stage of voting before being accepted as a group statute.
The concept is to create a platform for groups of all kinds to share in political power. From hobby groups, to companies, to countries, Govnr aims to demonstrate a new approach to group democracy in the information age.
