I’m a coder and web developer, music producer, film maker, and writer based in the sleepy little hamlet of London, England. I create things with technology.

My adventures in software engineering began at the tender age of 10 when my father brought home a BBC Micro and a book ‘Programming BASIC’, and I sat down and wrote a long and boring text adventure game.

I’ll avoid the usual list of 3-letter acronyms and simply say that I’ve never really stopped learning new software technologies since then. I’m usually right at home in a C-based syntax (I mean that quite loosely) and C# is generally where I like to go these days. But I also do other paradigms. And I also do scripting (the usual suspects). And I do front-end. And design. I’d guess they’d call me a Full-Stack developer.

I’ve worked on various music software projects, and a few of my audio plugins still float around. I did plenty of .net/WinForms and still indulge from time to time. On the web, I’ve become quite fond of Rails/PostgreSQL.

I’m now working mainly on cross-platform apps/games and web projects for myself, and for clients on a freelance basis. I also do music production, film production, and writing. Go on, give me a search…
